PRODUCTION TIME
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for production lead time before shipment.
SHIPPING
We offer tracked shipping across Canada with the following options:
- Canada Post Expedited Parcel — estimated delivery: 4–7 business days
- Purolator Ground — estimated delivery: 5–10 business days
- Purolator Express — estimated delivery: 2–4 business days
You can choose your preferred shipping method at checkout. All shipping options include tracking and delivery confirmation. Once we process your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is available for orders of $65+ within Whitehorse city limits.
Please note:
- We are unable to change the delivery address once your order has been dispatched.
- We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
- YUKINHA is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

RETURNS
For hygiene reasons, all earrings are Final Sale.
Returns or exchanges will only be accepted for defective items. Please contact us at info@yukinha.com to arrange.
CARE
- Polymer clay is naturally flexible and durable, but avoid bending your jewelry to maintain its shape and strength.
- Pearls and gemstones are genuine and not waterproof.
- Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, and sleeping.
- Handle your jewelry with great care, store it in a secure place, and avoid contact with moisture, perfumes, hairsprays, or body lotions.
- By giving your jewelry some extra tender loving care, you can enjoy their beauty for years to come!
Polymer Clay - Materials
What is polymer clay?
Polymer clay is a lightweight and durable material commonly used for jewelry and crafts. It can be blended, conditioned, shaped, and baked to create unique designs.
One of its greatest qualities is how lightweight it is—even larger designs can be comfortable to wear.
Every YUKINHA piece is entirely handmade by me. I develop my own designs and create my own colour recipes, inspired by the landscapes and natural beauty of the Yukon and my hometown in Japan.
From blending and conditioning the clay to shaping, baking, sanding, polishing, carving grooves for the earring posts, embedding the posts, and assembling each piece, I do every step carefully by hand.
What are the earring posts made of?
YUKINHA’s polymer clay earrings are available with two types of earring posts:
Titanium
Lightweight, durable, and nickel-free. Titanium is our recommended option for sensitive ears and those with nickel allergies.
316L Surgical Stainless Steel
A durable, hypoallergenic-grade stainless steel that is resistant to rust and tarnishing and requires minimal care.
If you have sensitive ears, we recommend choosing Titanium posts.
How are the earring posts attached?
The earring posts are securely embedded into the polymer clay itself—no glue or adhesive is used.
We have developed and refined our construction method through extensive testing and prototyping, carefully balancing durability with the overall beauty of each piece.
One detail we pay particular attention to is the finish around the earring post. We want the post to feel naturally integrated into the piece, with a clean and refined finish—even on the back. Each piece is carefully finished by hand to achieve this.
Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
Our earrings are made with hypoallergenic Titanium or 316L surgical stainless steel posts. Titanium is nickel-free and our recommended choice for sensitive ears and nickel allergies.
However, everyone’s skin sensitivity is different, and there are many types of metal allergies. While many customers with sensitive ears have worn our earrings comfortably, we cannot guarantee that they will be suitable for every individual.
Can I request a specific style with Titanium posts?
Absolutely! If you’d like a particular style with Titanium posts, please contact us. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Freshwater Pearls & Gemstones - Materials
About Freshwater Pearl & Gemstone Jewelry
Our jewelry is crafted from genuine freshwater pearls, gemstones, and 14K Gold Filled components and chains.
Since freshwater pearls and gemstones are natural materials, each piece may vary in colour, tone, lustre, shape, and size. This uniqueness ensures that every pearl and gemstone jewelry item is one-of-a-kind, just like you.
What is Gold Filled?
Gold Filled is a high-quality jewelry material made by bonding a thick layer of genuine 14K gold to a brass core.
For jewelry to be legally classified and stamped as Gold Filled (GF), at least 1/20 (5%) of its total weight must be 14K gold. You may see a stamp such as "1/20 14K GF" on Gold Filled components.
The gold layer is approximately 100 times thicker than traditional gold plating, making Gold Filled jewelry much more durable and long-lasting.
Gold Filled is not the same as Gold Plated. It contains a substantial layer of genuine gold and is designed for long-term wear.
Is Gold Filled hypoallergenic?
All our 14K Gold Filled components and chains are nickel-free, cadmium-free, and hypoallergenic, making them an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin.
While it is highly unlikely to cause an allergic reaction, it's important to note that metal sensitivities can vary from person to person, and individual reactions may differ.
Bridal & Custom Orders
Do you offer bridal or custom jewelry?
Yes! I’m happy to create special pieces for weddings, bridal parties, and other meaningful occasions.
I have created bridal jewelry using existing YUKINHA designs, as well as custom pieces developed together with customers based on their ideas and inspiration.
For example, an existing earring design can be customized to suit your preferences, while a necklace can be created from an idea or inspiration image you share with me.
We can discuss the style, colours, pearls, gemstones, and other details together to create something that feels personal to you.
Whether you already have a clear vision or just have a general idea, I’m always happy to work with you to create something special.
How does the custom order process work?
Simply reach out through the contact form and tell us what you have in mind.
You can share your preferred style, colours, materials, quantity, budget, or inspiration photos. From there, we can discuss your ideas together and explore what would work best.
Once we’ve agreed on the design and details, I’ll provide a quote and estimated timeline before we begin.
Because every custom piece is handmade with care, please allow additional time for custom and bridal orders. Lead times vary depending on the design, quantity, materials required, and current workload.
